Keiran Thomas looks set to miss Saturday's match at Southport. The Hereford midfielder/defender sat out last night's game at Alfreton.
Thomas was involved in a car accident last Sunday.
He told BN that he had an injury to his leg and, as yet, the extent of those injuries was uncertain.
After the game head coach Marc Richards mentioned Thomas in his post match interview.
"Somebody collided into the right hand side of his car and his shin has swollen up," said Richards.
"He went to the doctors, did some blood tests, and we've just found out on the way up here that they are not sure what it was.
"I didn't want to put him in without knowing exactly what we are dealing with.
"I didn't want to be putting him in and something happening and ultimately putting Keiran at harm."
