Hereford FC will play in the National North League again next season but there will be several 'new' teams given promotion and relegation.
Interestingly some of those 'new' teams might be relatively close to Edgar Street as opposed to hundreds of miles away.
This is partly because it looks as though four teams, all in the south, will be relegated from the National League and, given their location, will play in National South next season.
Havant & Waterlooville, Aldershot Town, Braintree Town and Maidstone
United are those teams and given two sides are from
Hampshire, one from Essex and one from Kent, they're unlikely to play in National North.
If that theory is correct then it's expected that a team or even two teams currently playing in the National South may land up in the National North next season.
So which teams currently in National South might 'move' North? Amidst the candidates are Gloucester City, Oxford City and Bishop's Stortford.
Meanwhile given their location Kettering will be in the National North next season. They have already won the Evo-Stik Southern Premier. At least Kettering is closer to Hereford than, for example, Blyth Spartans.
And Farsley Celtic look likely to be promoted to the National North from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. South
Shields, Warrington Town, Nantwich Town and Gainsborough Trinity currently occupy
the play-off spots.
An FA committee decides who plays where and their decision is expected to be revealed at the National League AGM which is set to take place on June 8 at the Celtic Manor, Newport.
