Hereford midfielder Eliot Richards spoke to the press after yesterday's drawn game against Telford. He was asked about the possibility of a further contract.
"If it's the right deal and they want me to stay, I'm more than happy to," said Richards.
What did he think of the result?
"It was a good game.
"We started really well and got the goal.
"First half we kind of dominated them.
"But with the heat it was quite hard to keep up that tempo.
"Then second half they came out and dominated.
"May be a draw was a fair result."
Richards was unlucky not to score in the second half.
"It was a good strike but the keeper got his hands onto it.
"We were missing that second goal to pull ourselves away.
"The defender came out quite fast so I thought if I shoot with my left he is going to block it. Then the other defender has come towards me so all I could do was chip it."
Was about the season?
"At the start of the season we had Beads in and we were playing alright. Then he went and it took a bit of time before Rico came in.
"For me, I was out for ten or twelve weeks with an injury. I gradually got back into it and towards the end I've started playing well."
