Darlington are the opponents at Edgar Street next Saturday when Hereford play their first league game at home since February 2nd.
Last night Darlington were defeated by Telford 3-1 whilst Hereford didn't have a fixture.
Darlington are currently 16th in the table, two places above the Bulls. Their recent record is poor, only one win in their last eight and just five goals scored.
Telford were 3-0 ahead by half-time.
“We gave yourselves a mountain to climb at half-time,” said manager Tommy Wright.
“We
asked for a marked improvement on the first half, but the damage had
been done and the lads were playing for pride.
"Tonight they (Telford) have put us to the sword and they took their chances."
Meanwhile a long serving supporter Craig Ellis is reported to have paid for the Darlington team bus to travel to Hereford and back.
