Reffell Sustains Ankle Injury

Substitute Keyon Reffell took a knock to his ankle in the dying minutes of last night's game at Guiesley. Hopefully it's not serious.

"It's just swollen up a little bit," said head coach Marc Richards.

"As he was getting a little bit cold towards the end of the game, it started to get a bit frosty, he just caught his ankle as he has gone in for that slide right at the death.

"He's just kind of rolled it slightly.

"Hopefully it's nothing too serious, we'll ice it up and we'll have a look at him for the Saturday game."

Meanwhile referee Thomas Parson pulled up with cramp just before the end of the game. Luckily he was able to continue.

"I was going to get Jonny on to go and look after him," said Richards.

"I think it was just cramp but I thought he had done his calf at one point."

The Hereford head coach didn't want the game called off.

"We don't want to be a third time coming up to Guiseley.

"I didn't know whether Morse was qualified and whether their guys would have allowed that.

"Fortunately a little bit of magic water from their physio and he was alright to carry on."
