Keyon Reffell's injury which occured late in last Tuesday's game at Guiseley is worse than originally thought.
This morning the club have reported that he has broken his ankle.
Reffell had an x-ray yesterday morning.
"We’re all gutted for Keyon" said Head Coach, Marc Richards
"We were hoping, and our initial reaction was, that it wasn’t too serious an injury, but as we travelled home on the bus it became apparent that it was worse than feared."
Reffell is expected to be out for up to eight weeks.
Later Reffell twetted about his injury.
"Overwhelmed by all the messages, texts and phone call I’ve received. Really appreciate it and feel so blessed with all the support I’ve been given!! These things sometimes happen in football. You’ve just got to get on with it and make the best of a bad situation.
"I will 100% come back stronger than before. I’m in good hands with this one@lottiehewings . I have the right people around me which I’m grateful for! Thanks again"
