Former Hereford FC goalkeeper Martin Horsell who signed for Swindon Supermarine on Friday didn't have the best start at his new club.
He was sent off for a hand ball outside the box in their game against Frome Town yesterday.
To make matters worse Frome won the game 4-0.
Horsell recently left Hereford by mutual consent. He had been with the club for three seasons.
Supermarine were pleased to get his signature.
“We are delighted to have
signed Martin, his previous club being Hereford since 2015 to 2019, he
gained three promotions with them" said manager Lee Spalding.
“He will bring great experience and
quality to the team and is another player who has played at a higher
level which will be important as we look to continue to build a team
that will look to push for promotion over the coming seasons”.
