Ryan Green With A Chance For Hereford At Brackley Last September |
The bookies feel that Brackley Town are favourities to defeat Hereford in the FA Trophy tie at Edgar Street on Saturday.
However Hereford are unbeaten at home since November 13th, whilst Brackley's away record isn't that good as they haven't won an away league game since October.
Hereford 15/8 Draw 13/5 Brackley 17/13
The two teams met in the league on September 8th, the last league game with Peter Beadle in charge of the Bulls. Brackley won that game 2-0 but the Bulls played part of the game with ten men after Eliot Richards was sent off in the first half and with only nine men for a short time after Calvin Dinsley saw red.
The BN reporter noted that 'Hereford turned in possibly their worst performance since the
founding of the club. They were flattered by the scoreline and were
second best in many areas, losing their discipline'.
However Hereford have defeated both high-flying Chester and Kidderminster recently and drew with league leaders Chorley last Saturday.
Maybe the bookies have backed the wrong team?
