Mike McGrath has signed for Southern League Division One Central side Bromsgrove Sporting after he left Hereford by mutual consent last week.
Sporting manager Bren Kelly said he was delighted that McGrath chose to sign for his side.
"I am absolutely delighted that Macca has chose to sign for us," he told the club's official website.
"He was inundated with offers as far up the ladder as step two. It is a huge coup for the club.
"I played with Macca before and know his game inside out. A player of his talent and experience will certainly be beneficial to the squad."
Pending league approval, the 33-year-old will be available for Saturday's game against Peterborough Sports.
Hereford's Head Coach Marc Richards spoke very briefly about McGrath's departure last week and wished him well for the future.
