Hereford under-18s were beaten comfortably 5-0 by Lye Town in the league last night, their third game in eight days
The young Bulls beat league leaders Worcester City on Monday evening in the latest of a string of improved performances, but they faced a tough trip to Lye Town who went into the game off the back of netting six against near-neighbours Halesowen Town.
Lye's youth team manager Joshua Grant tweeted after the game how proud he was of his side.
Couldn't be prouder of the lads tonight a 5-0 win in the league against a @Academy_HFC side who beat top of the league Monday! Tempo and intensity best I've seen since we took over and couldn't live with us. 12 goals in 2 games & 0 conceded. @Lyetownofficial @ashagreenaway 🔵⚪️— JJ (@GrantJJoshua) December 20, 2018
