Former Bristol City forward Marlon Jackson has spent the last week training with Hereford.
Bulls News understands that the club have put in for international clearance as he most recently played for League Two Newport County until being released in the summer.
27-year-old Jackson can play as a striker or winger, and had two spells with Hereford United. The first in 2009 saw him arrive on loan from Bristol City having come through their youth set up, then returning for the 2012/13 Conference National season.
