News Round Up


Several squad changes at Nuneaton who entertain Hereford next Tuesday evening. Joining are former Port Vale winger Enoch Andoh, former Torquay midfielder Courtney Richards and a defender named as Danny Burns. Meanwhile Jos Mayebi has moved on.

Over at Telford, young goalkeeper Max Bramley has joined on a season-long loan from Leicester City and Ryan Sears joins from Shrewsbury on a one month loan deal.

Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Dan Bradley has stressed the importance of a strong start to the league on Saturday. Kiddy travel to Alfreton Town for the league opener, with the hosts making drafting in a number of new players over the summer. Bradley told the club's official YouTube channel that he knows it won't be an easy start, but says everyone in the Reds' camp is 'buzzing to get into the real, competitive stuff now'.

Former Hereford United defender Rod McDonald, who spent last season at Coventry, has signed for one of their League One rivals. 26-year-old McDonald has joined the Dons for an undisclosed after being playing a key part in the Sky Blues' promotion from League Two. Assistant Manager Neil Cox told the club's website the centre-back is quick, strong, pacy, and he organises people at the back, exactly what the club have been looking for. 

Chester joint manager Bernard Morley is unfazed by high expectations this season, saying hopes rose after the new management team was announced. Speaking to the Chester Standard, Morley says he saw the club as 'sleeping giants' after their cash-strapped relegation from the National League.
