Bittner Joins Reading As Under 23 Goalkeeping Coach

Former Hereford United goalkeeper James Bittner has joined Reading as their under 23 goalkeeping coach.

Recently Bittner had been at Newport County and after deciding not to continue playing was offered a post with their coaching staff.

A statement from Newport County said “James Bittner has been a brilliant servant for the club over the last two years, from taking on the role of caretaker manager for two matches to helping the team achieve the Great Escape and a fantastic Emirates FA Cup run.

“Everyone at Newport County AFC would like to thank James for his efforts over the last few years and wish him the very best with his future endeavours.”

Bittner joined Hereford United in the summer of 2012.
