As part of the club's annual safety certificate checks, it has come to light that some seats at the back of the Len Weston Stand are unsafe to use.
The seats along Row E in Blocks G and H have insufficient supports. These are different to the other seats around the ground as they're embedded in the concrete, which means neither the supports or seats cannot be replaced.
Despite the loss of seats, the capacity of the two blocks will remain at a very similar level. This is because the club has needed to limit the amount of supporters due to the time it takes to exit in the event of an emergency.
In a letter to affected season ticket holders, the club said if there was an acceptable and viable alternative, it would have been implemented.
Standing along the back row is also not an option because of the conditions of the safety certificate.
