Hereford FC are likely to come up against a goalkeeper that played for Hereford United when they meet Southport this coming season.
Dan Hanford joined Hereford in the summer of 2011 but only made 12 appearances for the club during the two seasons he spent at Edgar Street.
Later he joined Carlisle and then in the summer of 2016 joined Gateshead.
Earlier this week he moved to Southport.
Also moving to Southport is 6'4" centre-half Ryan Astles who made 41 starts for Chester last season.
Meanwhile Telford, another club Hereford will play next season, are expected to announce the name of their new manager tomorrow. Reportedly they had 15 applications for the post.
