A promotion entitled 'Get Into Golf Month' is set to come to Edgar Street on May 2nd.
Mark Romasiuk, England Golf’s Club Support Officer for Herefordshire and Shropshire,
promises plenty of action, with warm-up events starting in May.
And one of those is at Edgar Street where teams of youngsters will tackle five stations, with challenges such as
putting across the pitch, playing a shot out of the stands, longest
drive and even beat the keeper (with a soft ball!)
“We really want to create a buzz about golf,” said Mark as reported by Golfshake.com. “We want
people to be talking about golf and trying the game. Golf is a great way
to enjoy the outdoors and to make new friends, so our message is come
along and give it a go!”
