We Blew Gosport Away With Crisp and Slick Movement said Beadle

Hereford manager Pete Beadle was pleased with his side's performance as they comfortably beat Gosport Borough 4-0 on the road on Tuesday evening.

He thought his side blew Gosport away with crisp and slick movement and the intensity throughout the game.

"It's been difficult with the gap, the ten days before tonight," Beadle told BBC Hereford and Worcester's reporter Keith Hall.

"Gosport have brought in some fresh players and rejuvenated themselves a little bit. I spoke to someone in the crowd just after half time and he said it was a completely different team to what he saw a month ago.

"They stuck in there and made it difficult for us. We got the goal within the first 15 minutes which settled us down, but we needed a second one as well. While it's 1-0 they're always in the game and their manager is very vocal from the side trying to keep the tempo up.

"Second half I thought we really dominated the game and blew them away a little bit because our movement and passing was crisp and slick. On another day it could've been more than four."

The Bulls haven't conceded since the 4-2 win against Farnborough last month, and the Hereford manager was impressed with the intensity.

"It's now six clean sheets on the bounce, so we're really happy with that, and another four goals to add to our tally so it's been a good night.

"Even in the last ten minutes when it was 3-0 we're running to get the ball and take a corner and that's the sort of intensity we need to play with.

"When we play like that we're a really good side and we showed that tonight in long spells of the game. Our passing and movement was excellent, we found great pockets of play and on another night it could've been a few more.

"The intensity was brilliant, but also what was really pleasing was out of possession. When we didn't have the ball how quickly we won it back. That's not because they're not a good side, it's because we put them under real pressure and didn't give them any options."
