Hereford FC’s lead at the top of the table is down to just one point now after they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Camrose against mid-table Basingstoke Town, while second-placed King`s Lynn Town beat Farnborough 3-1 at The Walks.
Sam Argent gave Basingstoke the lead after just 2 minutes.
And that was the only goal of the half, with the Bulls equalising through Jordan Liburd after 64 minutes.
But Shane Hollamby on 76 minutes and Sam Smart in stoppage time netted two more for the hosts to complete a good afternoon`s work for Terry Brown`s young side.
Lynn were in front after 13 minutes, thanks to Toby Hilliard.
Michael Elias-Fernandes pulled Boro back on level terms in the 35th minute though, but Michael Gash on 68 minutes and Tom Siddons 8 minutes from time made the points safe for the Norfolk side.
Weymouth are the outsiders in the title race but kept within four points of King`s Lynn with a 2-0 Bob Lucas Stadium win over second-bottom Dunstable Town.
The visitors proved a tough nut to crack, but two goals just before half-time from Calvin Brooks and Brandon Goodship eventually proved enough for the Terras.
Kettering Town possess three games in hand on Lynn and Weymouth and one on Hereford, so cannot be ruled out.
Their excellent 4-0 win at mid-table Stratford Town took them to within one goal of the Bulls too.
A 14th minute Brett Solkhon penalty was all that separated the sides at the break.
But Michael Richens on 58 minutes, Matt Stevens 3 minutes later and then Aaron O`Connor 2 minutes from time killed off the game as a contest.
Slough Town occupy the final play-off slot but had to be content with one point from a 2-2 draw at the ProKit UK Stadium against Bishop`s Stortford.
Alfie Mason broke the deadlock to give the Blues a 53rd minute lead that Ben Harris cancelled out after 75 minutes.
Darren Foxley restored the home side`s lead in the 81st minute, but 7 minutes later, Perry Coles pulled the Rebels back on level terms.
The other top five challengers all had the day off due to the weather, while at the bottom of the table, Gosport Borough suffered another bad defeat at Privett Park against Redditch United.
It was certainly a game for the neutrals with seven goals and a red card.
The first of the seven goals came in the 9th minute from the head of Redditch captain James Mutton.
And on 25 minutes Redditch doubled their lead with a fine finish just outside the box from Stuart Fleetwood.
The visitors scored two more before the break, Fleetwood with his second and Lewis Wright putting the game out of reach by half-time.
But Gosport showed some pride with Ed Sanders reducing the arrears with a long-range strike after 58 minutes and Ben Wright on his home debut firing a second 2 minutes later.
But Jordan Mills headed home a fifth 3 minutes later and Boro’s slim hopes of getting back in the game ended when Harry Medway saw red for a tackle in the opposition box, causing outrage on the touchline.
Frome Town beat Kings Langley 2-1 in the day`s other game.

George Miller equalised from the spot after 65 minutes and 7 minutes later, Joe Raynes scored what proved to be Frome`s winner.
