John Mills Scores At Kettering |
Kettering FC travel to Gosport tomorrow hoping to take three points to help keep them in the Southern Premier League play-offs positions.
Chairman John Mahoney admits their chance of the title has gone but a top five finish is on the cards.
"At the start of the season we all suspected that Hereford would be
strong and that’s proven to be the case and we could all identify five
or six sides that were logical choices for a play-off position and at
worst we wanted to be in that group," Mahoney told the Northampton Telegraph.
“I would obviously rather achieve promotion without the lottery of the play-offs.
“But the squad we have is capable of beating anyone on their day and if we can secure home fixtures then our opposition will be in for a hard game."
Kettering are at Hereford on April 21st.
