Former Bull Suffers Badly Broken Leg

Damon Lathrope Starting For Hereford Against Chester In 2013
A former Hereford United player Damon Lathrope has suffered a badly broken leg.

Lathrope was playing for Woking against Boreham Wood on February 24th.

In the 63rd minute Lathrope and Danny Woodards both went in hard for a 50-50 ball. It was immediately apparent that Lathrope had suffered what looked like a broken leg.

After various operations, he has been left with damage to a number of major arteries and veins and had to retire from the game.

Woking have set up a fund to help.

'We have set up a Go Fund Me Testimonial page for Damon Lathrope - all funds (less Go Fund Me charges) will go fully to Damon and his family to encourage them as he recovers.

Go Fund Me do take charges but, to avoid that, you can leave a message and notification of an offline donation on the site. Then donate directly to the dedicated Woking FC account 71796550, 40-47-08, WOKING FC LTD

Please give as generously as you can - and spread the word on social media. Thank you.'

Lathrope came to Edgar Street on loan from Torquay on November 12th 2013. Whilst with Hereford he played in eight games.
