Preview: Farnborough vs Hereford

Hereford travel to Hampshire today to take on Farnborough. Bulls fans have been allocated their own stand, but the game is not segregated.

But back to Tuesday night and the Bulls travelled to Kings Lynn Town to play their part in a five goal thriller at The Walks. Hereford took a two-goal lead into the second half with goals from Jordan Liburd and John Mills but ended up losing 3-2 with the winning goal coming deep into stoppage time.

After the result the Linnets end up topping the table with the Bulls sat back in fourth, four points behind with four games in hand.
James Bowen is set to return to Edgar Street for the remainder of the season from Solihull Moors, the side he left the bulls to join in October. The left back will not be available for this weekend's game but the paperwork should be finalised in time Tuesday's home game at Bishop's Stortford.

This is a timely signing after Cameron Pring's below par performance in midweek, a healthy competition for places in that area could be welcome. However, Bowen can also play further up field on the wing.

On the injury front, it's hoped that Ryan Green will be back in contention after struggling with a knock he picked up last weekend. Meanwhile Mike McGrath and Calvin Dinsley remain sidelined.

Farnborough themselves have had a busy end to January with many players leaving and joining the club from positions all over the pitch.  Wolves youngster Andrew Sealey-Harris has joined on loan until the end of the season offering cover on the wings and up front. However, a longer servant of the club Keith Emmerson has left with personal matters being the main reasons for the move.

As reported on BN yesterday, Farnborough are hopeful of having all the necessary paperwork completed in time for today's game after signing two goalkeepers. They are Dennis Begović, who joins on loan from Bristol City, and Craig Bradshaw who's previously had a spell at Cherrywood Road.

Boro have been on the end of some heavy defeats recently with Redditch United winning 7-1, and Weymouth scoring six past them last weekend. If only their defence had been as stringent as their airport security in recent weeks!
