Statement From UITC About Brewer Case

UITC have released the following statement:

"The Board of Trustees of UITC have been made aware that charges made against a former employee, Liam Brewer, have recently come to court.

He was appointed as Community Manager on September 1st 2016 and resigned his position in November 2016 stating there were allegations being made against him which could impact the reputation of the organisation.

We accepted his resignation and co-operated with  the relevant authorities as appropriate.  This also acted as an additional precaution to make sure there was nothing untoward that was to do, in any shape or form, with the organisation. This was  confirmed to us early on and has been continually throughout the case ."
