Hereford FC chairman Ken Kinnersley has thanked Mike Langford for his work as a director of the club.
As revealed on BN last Saturday, Langford has decided to step down from both the HFC board and the HUST board.
"I’d like to thank Mike for the many, many voluntary hours he has
put in at Edgar Street as part of his role as a Director at the club," said Kinnersley as reported by the OS.
"He
is a real gentleman and a committed supporter of the club, attending
many away games as well as working so hard on the 50/50 draw at home
fixtures.
"He is a popular figure around the place as he is approachable and very personable. Everyone on the board understands his reasons for stepping down, because we are all aware quite how much time is dedicated to our roles as Directors.
"We are, however, very pleased to hear Mike is going to continue to sell 50/50 tickets on behalf of HUST and look forward to catching up with him on a regular basis in the future."
