It's Wealdstone On Saturday

Hereford are away again this coming Saturday with a trip to Ruislip to play Wealdstone in the FA Trophy.

Wealdstone are in the Conference/Vanarama South League, one step above the Bulls. Currently they are in 13th position with 8 wins, 8 draws and 8 defeats.

They are managed by Bobby Wilkinson who was previously with Hungerford.

As far as is known there's only one player who has turned out for both teams. That's Theo Robinson who went on loan to Wealdstone from Watford before his move to Hereford.

As for the stadium it can hold 3600 spectators and there are around 700 seats of which 329 are covered.

One of its features is a towering concrete gun turret at the North East corner used to protect nearby Northolt Aerodrome from German bombing during World War II.

On Saturday fans will be segregated and Hereford supporters will be afforded the covered standing terrace behind the goal (West Stand), along with covered standing on the side of the clubhouse and seating for 75 on a first come first served basis. A mobile catering unit offering hot food and drinks will be provided along with toilet facilities.

Admission:

Adults £13, Concessions £9 and Juniors £3

Directions:

At the end of the M40 the road becomes the A40. Take the first exit on the A40, onto the B467 towards Ruislip.
