Goalkeeper Alex Harris has been released by Hereford, with manager Pete Beadle saying he needs more game time.
"Alex has been patient since his return, and has had to watch the majority of the matches from the bench," Beadle told the official site.
"However, he’s previously won league titles at this level and he needs to get out and play games for his own development.
"We had a chat after last night’s game and decided it was best if we let him go. We depart on good terms, and I’d like to thank him for coming back and for his hard work and dedication in training and traveling each week. He’s a good ‘keeper and we all wish him well for the future."
After a brief spell away from the club when he linked up with Gloucester City, Harris has only played twice since returning to Edgar Street in October.
Harris has tweeted:
"It doesn’t feel like it now but I do believe what’s happened is in my best interests, I would like to thank all the support that Ive had from the unbelievable fanbase and also the criticism for keeping my feet on the ground."
