Yesterday Hereford were knocked out of the FA Trophy by Wealdstone at their St George's Stadium in near by Ruislip.
Although a long way from Herefordshire, the stadium was fairly easy to find. And whilst there was no car parking at the ground, near-by street parking was available.
As one entered the ground the aroma of freshly cooked food was in the air. The catering offered perhaps the best quality food at any ground Hereford have visited this season. Shame it took so long to be served.
The stadium looked as though stands, of different sizes, at been added at various stages. Probably no master-plan!
The pitch itself sloped but the surface was quite reasonable to play on.
A very friendly bunch of natives including some supporters from West Ham, Tottenham and Slough. Many quite interested in what had happened at Edgar Street in recent times.
A few photos from around the ground.
