Earlier today he has been released by Bath City from his contract 'because of work and travel commitments'.
Hereford FC say that he has travelled with the squad to Fleetwood.
Manager Peter Beadle knows Murphy well as the youngster was in the Youth team that Beadle managed. Later when Beadle took over as manager of the first team he gave Murphy his debut in April 2014.

Billy began his career with Hereford United as a teenager and impressed sufficiently to be one of just two players offered a contract at for the 2014-15 season. However, financial problems at the Bulls meant they were not paid which allowed Bristol City to secure his services in July 2014 on a free transfer.
The versatile midfielder progressed through Under-18 and Under-21 level and Ashton Gate and was captain of the latter side when he joined City on loan in February 2016. Made 14 starts and two substitute appearances as he remained at Twerton Park for the rest of the campaign.
And when he was released by the Robins at the end of that season he signed a permanent deal with the Romans and was nearly ever present in the middle of the park for the 2016-17 campaign.
