Rhys Evans is proud to be continuing in his role as Hereford’s goalkeeping coach, despite ‘signing’ for Wimborne.
As reported on BN earlier, 35-year old Evans has agreed to ‘help out’ Wimborne tomorrow and is expected to start between the sticks.
Even though he has recently relocated to the south coast, Evans still takes training sessions with Hereford on a Thursday.
Evans said on Twitter: “I am still very much the Hereford GK coach and proud to be so, I am simply helping them (Wimborne) out tomorrow.
“The (Bournemouth Echo’s) article is very disappointing and I’ve made them aware of my disappointment.
“Beads has been fully aware and I got his blessing first.”
