Eastleigh's Zebroski Trialled At Hereford In 2007

One of the players in Eastleigh's current squad trialled with Hereford United ten years ago.

Eastleigh play Hereford in the FA Cup next Saturday week and Chris Zebroski is expected to feature.

Zebroski came to former manager Graham Turner's notice in July 2007 after he was made available for loan by Millwall.

July 16th 2007:

20 year old Millwall forward Chris Zebroski has been confirmed by the Lions to be on trial at Edgar Street, however the Millwall site suggests that he may be a permanent departure.

Zebroski spent the latter part of last season on loan at Oxford, where he scored twice in ten games after a spell on the fringes of Millwall's first team, and collected 11 yellow cards during the course of last season. He previously was at Plymouth, but left under a cloud after a disciplinary hearing.

July 18th 2007:

Hereford United recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over local side Pegasus Juniors in their first friendly of the season. The goals were scored by Steve Guinan, Lionel Ainsworth, Richard Rose and Chris Zebroski.

It was Zebroski though who added the fourth and final goal of the evening when he cut in from the left hand side and placed his shot into the near corner to round up the evening.

July 24th 2007:

Zebroski played the first half in a friendly at Bath.

July 27th 2007:

Zebroski played against West Brom in a friendly.

July 31 2007:

Bulls triallist Chris Zebroski has been unveiled as a loan signing by Torquay United.
The Millwall striker had been at Edgar Street after he was effectively told his Lions career was over by boss Willie Donachie, however he has apparently failed to impress Graham Turner sufficiently to warrant the loan deal.
