Gosport Borough have announced Mick Catlin as their new manager, after Alex Pike left the club last week.
Catlin, who has previously been assistant manager at the Hampshire-based club, has most recently been in temporary charge at Winchester City.
Gosport currently sit just above bottom-side Dunstable in the table, and entertain Hitchin at home tomorrow.
Chairman Iain Sellstrom said Catlin was the right man for the job.
In a statement, Sellstrom said: "Mick knows the club, is under no illusions as to what he has to work with, has in depth football knowledge and contacts.
"We decided he was the right fit for us.
"He knows the club, knows the people and players involved and given our circumstances at present, this was always an advantage.
"I look forward to working with him."
