Weymouth captain Ashley Wells praised Hereford's performance in the game between the two clubs last Saturday.
“They’re a good team, they’re well-organised, they’re clinical in
both boxes and obviously they defended very well, and they took their
chances," Wells told the Dorest Echo.
“We played within ourselves and I think the occasion got to a few us, obviously we didn’t rise to it, looked a bit nervous.
“Teams in this league if you give them a chance and they’ve got strikers like that they’re going to put you down and make it hard for you to get back in the game. They did a job on us.
“They’ve got one lad who runs off a big lad, you see that a lot in this league but their wingers were good, they created a lot of chances.
“The first goal is not a great goal, we haven’t really been carved open and then the second goal you can’t really do a lot about that.”
Meanwhile Weymouth has reported that there were 512 away supporters at the game on Saturday.
