Throwback Thursday - Wolves, Russell Bradley, Merthyr

Lets start with a 2-0 win over Graham Turner's Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day 1986. Goals from Ian Wells and Steve Spooner.

The best of series features defender Russell Bradley. Signed by Ian Bowyer in 1988. The commanding centre back stayed at Hereford until 1991. He later played for Halifax, Scunthorpe, Hartlepool and Hednesford. Bradley is an active member of the archive Hereford United Facebook group and currently works for an energy business in Derby.

With the Merthyr game approaching on the 28th August. Here is a feature on Paul Tester who talks about his wonder goal against the Martyrs in December 1989. The Bulls won the FA Cup 2nd round clash 3-2. (Ryan Green's father played for Merthyr that day)
