Evesham central midfielder Mat Liddiard has turned down an approach from Hereford manager Peter Beadle.
Liddiard only joined Evesham two months ago from Gloucester City but according to GlouceshireLive he has been followed by both Weston Super Mare and Hereford FC.
"I have told Pete Beadle (Hereford manager) that the lad is staying with us," said Evesham manager Paul Collicutt
"He's had a good pre-season and he's told me although he's only been here five minutes he feels at home already."
Liddiard is the fifth Evesham player whom Beadle has expressed an interest in recently.
Asked after Monday evening whether he required reinforements given the injuries in his squad, Beadle replied 'Maybe'.
