Hereford under 16's traveled to Bristol City's academy on Saturday morning for a friendly as they prepare for the JPL cup final in 2 weeks time.
A fairly even first half saw a couple of chance for both sides but neither could break the deadlock. Hereford finally took the lead as Liam Bishop slotted home a cross midway through the second half. Hereford then doubled the lead not long later after the City keeper palmed a shot into the path of a Hereford player but sadly the goal was ruled offside. City then had a goal cleared off the line before they were awarded a penalty with only a few minutes to go. The penalty was converted and the game finished 1-1.
