Hereford manager Pete Beadle has said the addition of Calvin Dinsley to the squad will add some competition.
Dinsley was released by Gloucester City earlier this week, and Beadle worked quickly to secure the 26-year old.
"We obviously know all about him from his loan spell with us earlier this season," Beadle told the official site.
"He's a strong player and will really add some competition to the squad.
"As soon as we found out that he was available, we didn't have to think twice about getting him in here."
Dinsley quickly became a fans favourite during his loan spell, with the midfielder getting his name on the scoresheet at Wimborne.
"He was keen to join us as he knows how we operate, so it's worked out great all round.
"He's here until the end of the season, but with a player of his quality, we're obviously looking ahead to next season hopefully, if things work out well."
