Taunton Town moved into fourth place in the
EVO-STIK League Southern's Division One South & West after earning a
hard-earned 2-1 win over Wimborne Town on Tuesday night, writes

Matt Wright headed Taunton ahead at The Viridor Stadium from a corner in the 21st minute. Matt Buse shot the Peacocks into a 2-0 lead in the 41st minute but Toby Holmes pulled a goal back on 58 minutes only to have a penalty saved by Lloyd Irish in the 67th minute.
Mangotsfield United missed the chance to move to within a point of the top five after being held to a 3-3 Cossham Street draw by Winchester City.
A see-saw encounter had City ahead after 16 minutes through Stuart Green, only for the Mangos to go into the break 2-1 up after goals just ahead of the cuppas from Matty Groves from the spot and Liam Monelle.
Craig Feeney pulled City back on terms five minutes after the interval and Andy Jenkinson made it 3-2 in the 64th minute. But Mitch Tippins salvaged a point for the hosts – who moved up a place to sixth – nine minutes from time.
