Nathan Summers (centre) With Ryan Green And Mustapha Bundu |
Former Hereford FC defender Nathan Summers has been made an offer to join Cirencester Town who play in the Southern League Premier Division
Summers has had several clubs since leaving Edgar Street most recently Frome Town. Currently he is a free agent.
Cirencester manager Charlie Griffin knows him well.
“He’s a good centre half who sticks his head on it and puts his foot through it and has plenty of experience of the Southern League for one so young.
“We spoke yesterday and he wants to talk it over with his family as our approach came out of the blue. But I’m hoping that being based in Gloucester from early January – he’s still at Hartpury – he will see us as a good fit.
“Frome are flying at the top of our league and he had a couple of other lads ahead of him there. But he is keen to play more games."
