Collicutt Looks Forward To Hereford Game

Evesham manager Paul Collicutt is looking forward to next Monday's game at Hereford. He's no stranger to Edgar Street as he told Gloucestershire Live.

"I played against Hereford many times for Cheltenham at youth level, but I have never been there as a manager before," Collicutt said.

"I remember playing against Kevin Sheedy, who had a lovely left foot and went on to play for Everton and the Republic of Ireland.

"I also went to watch them play with my dad during the days of John Charles, so I have plenty of fond memories.

"They have always been well supported, but now the backing they have is phenomenal."

Collicutt watched Hereford win their game at Bishops Cleeve last Tuesday.

"They have plenty of experience with players like Rob Purdie (pictured at Bishops Cleeve) and Ryan Green and there is real quality in their team," he said

"We will try and have a go at them and cause some problems, but we will start as underdogs and rightly so.

"We should have a healthy travelling support too and we know Hereford are expecting a bumper crowd."
