Merthyr manager Gavin Williams has told the Hereford Times that he would like Adam Davies to come back to the club.

"He's a player we're interested in, but I respect he's a Hereford player, so I've just got to wait for the outcome," said Williams.

"Maybe the travelling has been too much for him having to travel and an hour-and-a-half and back three times a week, but I haven't spoken to Adam yet, so I'm none the wiser. 

"He's just a great little player and is definitely a player that interests me."
