In his post match interview Hereford manager Peter Beadle was told that Evesham had beaten Salisbury 3-2 this afternoon and so remain eight points behind in second place.
"All we can do is concentrate on ourselves. All we can do is focus on our own game and make sure we're ready.
"Going back historically Evesham had a fantastic run not last year but the year before when they went twenty odd games.
"We did that twice last year and we are doing it this year so yes it is going to be an epic game but it won't determine where anything is going. It's just another game with an opportunity to put points on the board."
It's Mangotsfield away on Tuesday.
"They're all tough matches. I said to the players at half time that we've got for me probably our biggest week coming up now, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, two away games and a really tough home game in the middle.
"And if we can come through those three positively and with good points on the board it will put us in a good place.
"But they are never easy games and Mangotsfield came here and did quite well but it was the second game of the season. We played AFC Totton was the first game and it was quite close but we demolished them today.
"We're a different team to what we were then and they are as well but it's going to be a tough game and then we'll get ready for Saturday."
Beadle kept the same back four as the last game with Jimmy Oates on the bench.
"We looked at what we've got. I think the balance is great. We've got five lads there in the team that can all play centre half. We know that Mark can play right back, he played there for Chippenham this year, but we've got even better right backs in Jimmy and Greener who can play there.
"We have got players who can rotate position and play other positions so it's important we keep them all fit.
"We have spoken about bringing another defender in but it's tough to bring a defender in when we have five already. No one wants to come and sit on the bench here, everyone wants to play.
"Everyone is working hard. Jimmy had a bit of a knock the other week so he's been rested. He's come in today and had a part half and we'll see how he is for Tuesday."
