Hereford FC's under 18's won their FA Youth Cup tie against Newcastle Town this evening 2-1 and so go into the draw for the First Round Proper.
In a well contested game Hereford scored first through Rory Huntbach. Newcastle equalised but a superb strike from Sam Oxley sealed the tie for Hereford.

Afterwards UITC chairman, Nick Vaughan, spoke to BN.
"I'm very, very happy," said Vaughan.
"I think they were good opposition.
"Happy particularily for the lads who played for Beadle on Tuesday, for them to play a full game the way they did tonight we should be very proud of them.
"The draw for the First Round Proper is at 1pm tomorrow and the ties will take place in the week ending November 5th.
"I think the football club have two home matches that week so I don't know whether we can get it at Edgar Street but we like to get it to Hereford to get a few more people turning up.".
