With the news that the two clubs will meet in the FA Cup on Otober 1st, BN looks back at two previous fixtures between Hereford and Tonbridge.
In the 1956/57 season Hereford met Tonbridge in the final of the Southern League Cup which in those days was a two legged affair.
The first leg was at Tonbridge and Hereford won 2-1 with goals from Henry Horton and Freddie Jones.
At Edgar Street Hereford ran out 3-1 winners with two for Charlie Thompson and one for Roy Williams.
