Hereford FC historian Ron Parrott has spent sometime over the last few months helping out 'Herefordshire Life Through A Lens'.
'Ron Parrott, knowledgeable archivist and long-term fan of Hereford United, discusses how that epic match against Newcastle, in the FA Cup third round replay of 1972, changed things for the club. Parrott talks about then and now; the changing nature of the League, and how the game against Newcastle made the League pay attention to Hereford United, which was a non-league club at the time. Parrott describes how the club is thriving now and he tells us about the immense community spirit which surrounds the club today.'
