Hanford On Trial At Gateshead

Former Hereford United goalkeeper Dan Hanford is on trial at Gateshead. The 25 year old was recently released by Carlisle after two years at Brunton Park

The Welsh youth international made 44 appearances for the Cumbrians, and has also played for Hereford United as well as in Spain and Malta.

“Hanford is a player we will take a look at,” said manager Neil Aspin. “He has experience playing abroad and in the Football League and is a good age."

Hanford joined Hereford in the summer of 2011 but only made 12 appearances for the club during the two seasons he spent at Edgar Street.
