Further to his comments about John Mills and Pablo Haysham agreeing terms for next season, BBC Hereford and Worcester's Trevor Owens also spoke to Jon Hale about the Bulls signing Jamie Cuss from Westfields.
"Very, very impressed with Jamie.
"I know Pete (Beadle) has been very impressed with how he's played against us, and he's watched him a few other times as well.
"Excellent player, can certainly go up a level if not more. He comes in very hungry to do well and he wants to prove himself with us.
"I think he'll fit in very well."
Cuss scored 30 goals with Westfields last season, who finished 16th in the Midland Premier League.
"He's been a very consistent players for them this last season. Everybody knows he can score goals, he's a good team player and captained the side at Westfields.
"He's someone who will naturally lead on the pitch as a captain or not.
"He's a good calibre of player to bring into a side who are looking to keep that momentum going.
Jamie Edge has made a return to Edgar Street, being Hereford's first signing of the close-season.
Jamie Edge celebrates avoiding relegation at Aldershot in April 2014 |
"The way he plays football, it's hard to believe he's as young as he is, he's only 23/24.
"He's played a lot of football at a good level for his age. To have moved up to step 4, and to bring in a player who has been playing in step 3, I think it's a signal of our intention to go into that league with a very competitive side.
"We're going into it to challenge. We're not going to promise promotion, but we're going to challenge as hard as we possibly can.
"The side and the squad that we're building. Pete's very shrewd in terms of the players he brings in and I think Jamie Edge is an excellent addition."
