After watching his son Rhys captain the Hereford Under 15 winning team this afternoon at Lilleshall, Gareth Davies spoke to BN.
"It doesn't matter whether you play at Wembley, Lilleshaw or Edgar Street, they've got to play for themselves number one.
"When they put that shirt on or any club shirt they put on they've got to play with pride, passion and belief.
"They are getting better and they are a good bunch of young men and I think they've all got a future in the game and hopefully a future at Hereford.
"Every player is on a journey and this season we weren't playing great at the start but this group of players has shown a lot of character.
"Lian Brewer as the head coach of this group has got a great bond with them but the reason why we scored those three goals is technically we've done certain things, tactically we've become more aware in mid to final third.
"It shows character to come back from 1-0 down and in all areas of the game the boys have been outstanding. I don't think we deserved to go 1-0 down.
"Their number seven was outstanding, it was a good battle between him and Rhys at left back.
"If you win your one v one battles over the pitch which over the eighty minutes we started to edge those battles and that's why we ended up winning."
