Jamie Willets, who was BN's man of the match, felt Hereford put in a 'sterling' performance last night at Sporting Khalsa.
"I don't think we could have done much more," he said.
"Sporting Khalsa are a very good side but the two times we've played them we've made them look not average but not as good as we know they are.
"We've just been a cut above, we've made them look ordinary which is a credit to ourselves.
"Fantastic performance from all of us.
"A few first halves recently haven't been good enough and we had a telling off at half-time but I think we knew tonight we had to have a good start. 1-0 down against a team like Khalsa it would have been very difficult to come back.
"We started well tonight, hopefully we'll do it again Thursday, Saturday and the rest of the season."
