Hereford FC do not have a midweek game this week which given the weather might be a blessing.
The club was lucky that the pitch at Hartley Wintney was playable last Saturday and the game was won. Any replay would have taken place tomorrow.
All the Midland Premier League games set for last Saturday were postponed. So, in effect, Hereford haven't lost out.
Head groundsman Ben Bowen will probably be happy that the pitch at Edgar Street doesn't have to be used until the visit of Old Wulfrunians next Saturday.
Hopefully by then the pitch will have dried out after the very heavy rainfall in the area last Saturday and earlier today.
Meanwhile tonight's Midland Prem fixture between Coventry Sphinx and Long Eaton has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
