The Midland Football League will not be issuing a Team of the Month award for December as some teams did not play at all in the month.
Shepshed's New Years Day win over Heanor Town was their first competitive action since November 28th, while Highgate last played a League game on November 17th with their last competitive match, in the FA Vase, on December 1st. They currently face 16 games in the 60 days from this Saturday, with their next blank midweek in the first full week of March.
The League will issue a joint award for December and January - assuming some teams manage to stage a game. Alvechurch last played at home on November 17th, while Bardon Hill haven't hosted a game since the Bulls visited on November 14th.
