Step 4 side Daventry Town have been put under a transfer embargo. The move saw them only able to name a starting XI for their game with Chasetown. They lost 2-1 with no subs named on the bench. Newport's takeover by their Supporters Trust still hasn't been ratified by the Football League. A statement from the club says they provided the final documentation just before Christmas.

Telford's board have put out a call for support as they bid to avoid a second successive relegation. The Bucks are bottom of the National North table, four points short of safety, having scored just 17 times in 24 games. Former Bulls loanee James Baxendale has joined Mansfield on a months loan with a view to a permanent move from Walsall. The 23 year old winger scored on his debut at the weekend, but has not started a League game for the Saddlers this season.

The developer who had been in charge of the redevelopment of Northampton's stadium has been liquidated after the Administrator was unable to pay any of the firm's creditors. The company, 1st Land, was reported to have made a £2.65million loan to former club owner David Cardoza and his father, but the sum was not recovered. The Administrator's statement says they may wait for the Cardoza's company CDNL to be liquidated to see where the money went.

The Chairman and Vice Chairman of National South side Bishops Stortford are to quit the club over attacks on social media. The pair say they have been financially supporting the club for a number of years, but will withdraw at the end of the season, with the Vice Chairman quoted: 'when your personal integrity is challenged and physical threats are made it’s time to move on.'
